More from the Wilderness Paradise zoo in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.  This post consists of the parrots found there.  Sadly, I don't remember the names of each one.

Wilderness Paradise Zoo: Tiger

On July 31, 2010 I went to the Okmulgee Wilderness Paradise zoo for a birthday party.  We got to feed lemurs, pet a bob cat, hold snakes and play with a tiger!!  It was very fun to say the least.  I just had to bring my camera and I took many funny and interesting photos.  This is going to be the tiger section.

The Smiths

For a family portrait assignment in portrait class, I wanted to do my boyfriend, Damyn, and his family.  They came down to Okmulgee to the studio and made sure to color coordinate. =)  It was a lot of fun, but kind of hard to get them all smiling at the same time.  Surprisingly, it didn't take very much time at all.  I'm only posting one; the one that they chose.

Faux Photoshop

In Photoshop class today we had an assignment to imitate a Photoshop filter by shooting through something.  I shot through a blue Glad tupperware lid.

Tennis: Reaction

These are from the same demo on the 28th, and this is the reaction segment.  I enjoy the reactions more than the action because it shows more of the person's personality.

Tennis: Action

During class on July 28, 2010, Mr. Kelly Kerr, took all of us out to shoot a sports demo so we could get the hang of timing the shot.  He wanted us to be prepared for shooting the Tulsa Drillers game.  We were looking to get either peak action or reaction.  These are my action shots that I captured.

This is Janine, my lovely classmate. =)

Another classmate, Jessica.

Speechless

For my photojournalism class we had to shoot an editorial portrait.  I decided to do Damyn's grandma, Lois. She seems to always be either crocheting or cross-stitching something.  I asked her to pick out her favorite thing that she has cross-stitched (the one in the frame) and sit on her couch.  Next to her is a pillow with four different butterfly cross-stitch patterns sewn on, which she also did.  And behind her is an afghan the she crocheted.
