Damyn

     The first three images were taken on the same day as the panorama at Pretty Water Lake.  After I finished the panorama assignment I wanted to take some just for fun.  The four after that were taken in the studio yesterday, again after I completed the assignment I kept shooting.  I love using Damyn as a model and I wish he was more comfortable doing it.

Kansas

     These were taken on May 16, 2010 (the same day Donetta got her car stuck in the mud).

Graduation

     Berryhill's class of 2010 graduation was at the Mabee Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Saturday, May 22.  These are of the class throwing their caps after the ceremony was over.  The first five are: before, during, during, after and one hat that was tossed from the staircase above.  The next three are of Lindsey: walking down the steps, with her dad and walking away from the Mabee Center.

Lightning

     This is my first attempt at shooting lightning.  It was really fun, but extremely frustrating!  I took these on May 19 & 20 (1:00 AM), somewhere around Okmulgee.  The first two where taken outside my house.  I had to stop shooting after about 30 minutes because it started pouring!  After awhile Donetta and I decided we weren't done shooting yet and we wanted to find a really flat area with a wide open sky.  So, we drove around until we found a good spot.  That's where I took the last one.  The only disappointing part was that by the time we got to a good spot, the storm was beginning to subside.  =(  At least we know where to go next time though!

Panoramas!

 This is a panorama I did at Pretty Water Lake on May 17, 2010.  I used Damyn (my boyfriend) as my model because I am always bugging him to model for me, and he finally gave in!!!  I chose to have PW Lake (the waterfall part, kind of) as the setting because I know that it is an interesting area and it looks gorgeous.  This panorama consists of 11 images. =O  You can click on them to make them bigger!

     These two were taken in Kansas on the 16th, shortly after Donetta got her car stuck in the mud..  In the middle of nowhere.  =D  We just left the car, took our shoes off, walked around and took a ton of pictures!  It was a lot of fun.  The first one is five images and the second one six.

Nature With a Flash

I purchased a new flash for my Nikon today, and I couldn't wait to use it!!  These were all taken outside, except for the pink flowers.

Painting in Photoshop

I downloaded a trial version of CS5 and I wanted to try out the new painting feature.  You simply paint over what is already there and it acts just like real paint would.  This is a senior portrait that I did of Lindsey a couple months ago and it took me about six and a half hours to paint it.  I made sure to paint over EVERY pixel.  The before and after are both here for comparison.
